Safe Church Ministry partners with churches to create safe places to gather and worship, SCM helps churches implement policies to prevent abuse. We train church members, offer educational opportunities, confidential consultation, and develop resources. Our goal is to better understand various forms of abuse and help churches respond to it effectively.

Chaplaincy and Care Ministry supports over 100 chaplains who serve in prisons, hospitals, counseling centers, the military, and the workplace. Chaplains minister to the whole person, addressing spiritual, physical, and emotional needs, helping people face tough questions about suffering and death.

Race Relations works to end racism and bring about reconciliation, provides training, and hosts events, workshops and conferences to help CRC agencies, educational institutions and churches combat racism. It also offers scholarships for students planning to work in antiracism roles.

Everybody Welcome
Disability Concerns helps churches engage with people with disabilities, promoting hospitality and optimal use of gifts. Disability Concerns connects to the church body through Breaking Barriers (a newsletter), conferences and workshops, a network of hundreds of volunteers, print and online resources, and social networks. It also publishes a handbook on inclusion: Everybody Belongs, Everybody Serves.

Pastor-Church Relations advocates for healthy relationships between congregations, pastors and staff, Pastor-Church Relations helps churches address conflicts and find new pastors. We offer intervention, consultation, education, leadership development, and staff support, working to help churches grow and transition smoothly.

The Office of Social Justice raises awareness and promotes involvement in social justice issues like the fight for clean water, help for the poor, preserving the environment, humanitarian foreign aid, and more. People stay connected through a CRC social justice newsletter, Advocacy Alerts (calls for action on social justice issues), and the OSJ Prayer List.
